As a technology leader for company-wide classification, dataglobal had been invited by the IT Business Academy to present an overview of the deployment options for automated classification systems.

Rick Claus, author at Channel 9, interviews Josh Heller, Senior Product Manager at Microsoft, about Dynamic Access Control (DAC) in Windows Server 2012. Next to some demos of the product the video explains what Dynamic Access Control can do and how it relates to NTFS permissions.

It gives some insights on how DAC can be retro-fitted for existing environments and how the permissions dynamically applied to the files and shares. It finally illustrates how we automatically classify information for the files and what the enhancements made from File Classification Infrastructure in Windows Server 2008 R2 are.
